Coal Miners Ritual Before Going Underground Will Blow You Away

When coal miners sing, my mind goes to Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs.

In the video below, some coal miners share a special performance before going underground. Shane Wriston captured the spectacular moment on camera and shared on Facebook.

John Shower, a miner, belts out “The Star-Spangled Banner” and the rest of the miners gracefully join in. The group has a daily safety meeting before each shift.

Sometimes, they sing “Heigh-Ho” which is equally incredible. Josh’s voice is not what you would expect from a miner.

In the video below, the men take their helmets off and place them over their chests. Josh’s voice rents the air and the rest join him. Their amazing performance will send chills down your spine.
